The Sauna

Our wood fired, cedar barrel sauna was designed and built locally. We had a great deal of fun helping build the sauna from start to finish. Once the sauna was completed it was pulled across the ice with the sleigh and snowmobile right up the hill onto the platform. The outside shower was added in the spring.

The firewood house is in close vicinity to the sauna. There is no extra charge for the firewood.

In front of Fish House

The Fish Cleaning House
The screened in fish cleaning house is within easy access to all the cottages. It is equipped with running water, stainless steel tables, cutting boards, paper towels and some fish cleaning knives to use if guests forget their own.

The Bait and Tackle Shop

The Bait and Tackle shop was originally a storage building located behind our house. We always like a winter project, so with logs, winches and help from a few of our neighbours, we underwent the task of bringing the building around the house and down the hill. Needless to say it was a slow proposition! We managed to get it 2/3 of the way down the hill until it really got stuck. Thank goodness at that point in the winter we had lots of ice (over 2 ½ feet) so we were able to get a bulldozer across the ice to drag the building into the place it now rests in the center of the camp. The Bait and Tackle shop has a fridge for worms, ice, a variety of tackle, White Pine Lodge hats and clothing, maps as well as games and books that you can borrow for relaxing times in your cottage.
